Thank you for being a part of our Big Read at Cromaine Library! Almost 5,500 community members attended our programs, and over 1500 of you received copies of To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
Our Big Read was supported by many local organizations, including Macy’s, Comcast, the Friends of Cromaine Library, Livingston County Press & Argus, Walmart, Target, Printcomm, Livingston Diversity Council and Meijer, among others.
Cromaine Library is one of 208 organizations nationwide selected to receive a Big Read grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The Big Read at Cromaine focused on To Kill a Mockingbird, a Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Harper Lee.
The Big Read is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Arts Midwest.
