PNC Early Literacy Center

Thank you to the PNC Foundation for over $16,000 for our PNC Early Literacy Center, now installed in our Village Youth Department.  The Literacy Center is anchored by 4 AWE Learning Stations. These stations are independent computer work areas for children. The interactive programs in each station will induce Toddler reading, math, phonics and classics like “Green Eggs and Ham.”  Colored keyboards and large monitors draw in the children and the exciting “programs” will hold their attention.  Exploring painting, language learning, geography and science on these computers is a dramatic improvement.  Thanks to PNC Foundation!

How about a brie tart and apple fritters?

Medieval macaroni and cheese? salat, baked pears, and perry of peas and onions...and scroll down for stuffed eggs, beef pie, stewed beef, twisted bread with milk and sugar, chicken pasty, gingerbread, sugared almonds...
