Beginning October 16, sign-up for November's Tween and Teen Take-Out Boxes. Each box contains one or two library books hand-picked just for you, a sweet or savory treat, and other fun surprises. For Grades 5-12.

PaleoJoe at Cromaine District Library
PaleoJoe takes you on a trip back in time to learn about the victims and perpetrators, life and death of the prehistoric. Learn the techniques used in the investigation of how these creatures lived and died.
Do you like puzzles? Participate in our library jigsaw puzzle competition! Small groups and families of up to 5 people will compete to see which group can put together the same puzzle the fastest. Puzzles provided.

Enjoy an old fashioned Christmas celebration at Cromaine! Bring your camera to visit with Santa, listen to stories with Mrs. Claus, and enjoy crafts.

Teen Volunteering
Make new friends, help the community, learn valuable life skills, and have a blast doing it with Cromaine’s Teen Volunteer Program! There are two volunteering sessions, each with a one month open application period. Please check back later to apply for the next session.
Volunteering gives teens the chance to build skills necessary for the workplace, so we expect them to be independently responsible for every aspect of their experience.
** NOTE: In accordance with the Michigan Youth Employment Standards Act (2025), teen volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and submit a Michigan Work Permit.
