Take a spooky walk through the Village of Hartland with Cromaine Library! You’ll get to learn where all the haunted places are and the stories behind them. We’ll cover true life stories and legends haunting Hartland to this day! Adults, Teens, and Children are welcome - Children must have a parent present at all times. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes.

Phantom of the Opera: Silent Film & Organ
This October, you can experience the Phantom of the Opera in Hartland! Join Cromaine Library as we host a silent film viewing and live organ music at the Hartland Music Hall. Organist Alex Nilst will bring the film to life by performing the unique score on the historic Hall organ. All ages and families are welcome. Register for the event online or by phone.
Grant Sweet Memorial Essay Contest Winner Announcement & Reading
All Livingston County middle and high school students are eligible to enter the Grant Sweet Memorial Essay contest and must submit their entry by November 1st. Writers must interview a soldier or Veteran about their service and write a 250-word essay. At the event, the judging panel will be awarding three cash prizes and reading the winning essays. Writers must be present to win. All are welcome to attend - no registration necessary!
